We Can Never Be Friends.....?

This movie is one of my favorites, it is absolutely hilarious! I have been thinking about this subject for a while and with my rap sheet I think it might be true. Once I got out of my akward all-arms and legs phrase and started to actually look and act like a girl; my friendship with all my guy friends into a new extremely level. Imagine being the one that know your guy friend like the back of your hand and they think your "hot" because you finally developed curves and you actually started to curl your hair, lol. That being said you can understand how I went from all my best friends being guy friends to having one. I have guy friends but I keep them at arms length since that all seem to want to date me. Being a girl that loves action and horror movies, football, basketball, eating junk food and just hanging out is a win-lose situation. So now as I get in contact with a lot of my former best friends via Facebook; I have to pose the question: can male and females who are or once were attracted to each other just be friends? Can we intentionally form a friendship without having the dreaded "where is this going" talk? It seems like EVERYONE wants to be in a relationship when they find out they have something in common. I know that relationships first start from friendship but can the relationship just be a friendship and nothing more?

The Day Is Here.......

The dinner is tonight. It’s 4:00pm and already enough drama has happened that I just want to climb into bed and stay there; but God is good! I am so excited! I have my vintage red Saks Fifth Avenue dress, my Grecian headband, my grandma’s necklace (may she rest in piece) and I am ready to eat, eat and eat! I never set up a dinner before and I hope it goes off without a hitch. Into you hands, I place this dinner….lol. Well, keep me in prayer. I am exhausted. I have to make sure I look awake for all those pictures that will be plastered all over Facebook.

Are You Ready To Serve?

Today I stayed home for morning service because my cousin stayed home with my aunt as well. I was talking to one of my younger brothers in Christ on Facebook because he mentioned in his status that he was lonely. I told him if you really look at it your not. Of course he didn’t agree to I shared with him what the Lord revealed to me: relationships, friendship & marriage are all ministries. You serve and are served; if you feel you are ready to be in a relationship or get married ask yourself if you are ready to minister everyday while you’re with them. When he looked at it like that he said he wasn’t ready so I told him to ask God to show you where you lack. I realize that everyone wants to be in a relationship so that they have someone.

Where Are the Good Comedies?

I grew up on the good stuff: Friends, Seinfeld, Everyone Loves Raymond, etc. Now all there is on TV. is garbage! Well except for How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement and New Adventures of Old Christine. But if it’s not a Monday Night or Wednesday Night, I’m stuck. I am falling in love with the U.S. of The Office, but what else is there? I love a good laugh just as much as the other person, probably more. They need to bring the good stuff back! I’m sorry, I needed to rant!

Let Me Off!

Life is beginning to feel like a cheesy Soap Opera. I just found out that none of his friends support the relationship! I don’t know. Normally “Richard” has his head on straight all the time, but this time I think he lost it. I realized that he is probably just so tired of waiting; all his friends are about to get married and he’s the only one that is single. It different for different people I guess.
