How Great is My Savior's Love For Me

I am not perfect. In fact, I will gladly point out my errors: I am a complete mess. I am not someone that anyone should look to as an example of Christ but rather an example of the capacity of Christ's love. He took me broken up, disgusted, filled with suicidal thoughts, left for dead and He gave me life.....Even better, He laid down His life for mine. What kind of man would do that? No man actually but Jesus. God loved me soooo much that He looked past my present state and saw where I would be in Him and my future state. He didn't tell me "if you mess up again, that's it" but instead He kept using His blood to wipe away my transgressions, my faults, my disappointments, everything....at this moment as I type this I find myself more in awe of Him then before. Jesus Christ, God, the Holy Spirit.....The Three-In-One. My Father, my Brother, my Friend, my Lover of my soul, my Judge, my Provider, my Healer, my Peace. God sent His Son Jesus to die for someone who is so unworthy but God wanted to give me the chance to live.

I know, I know. I absolutely suck! I have been so busy the past couple of months with prepping for our Christmas program, Bible School, etc. etc. etc. Lol. I am so excited for this year; I mean really excited. My best friends (Stace and Lizzy) are engaged! (Stace and Mike git enagaged Jan. 7, 2010 and Lizzy and Robert Thanksgiving). This translates to more bridesmaids dresses I will attend and more wedding showers, blah, blah, blah, blah. Lol. This year is new; the decade is new; it’s a chance for a clean slate for so many people. I can say my life will never be the same. I have a new blog up on onsugar.com http://musingsofaquarterlife.onsugar.com This is for my fashion musings since this blog has become for more of my God based musings, lol. Not that there is anything at all wrong with that! I will continually blog here; but if you want to read my random blogging on hotties, fashion, Jane Austen (lol) etc, you know where to go now. But seriously, I pray that you this year will be a year that we all move to higher heights and deeper depths in Christ. May everyone be blessed.

It's A New Season Coming to Me!

I am not going to mention the ungodly hour that I am up today but I feel like it’s a new season for me. Everything is going to change for the better; for my good and I’m moving to a higher level in Christ. I am not perfect, no where even remotely near good but I am grateful that the Lord is moving in my life and on my behalf. I am so excited! I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me.
